More Pix of Aix

Cathedrale St-Sauveur - we came here on Sunday afternoon hoping to hear the Gregorian chants which are usually sung at 4.30pm but it wasn't on maybe because of the carnaval in town
One of many funky fountains which are everywhere. I've never seen anyone drink out of one of these but they must have in the olden days.
Waiting, waiting...

One of the bands in the carnaval. I wish I had the video camera with me. It was such a lively procession and lots of fun to watch.

Stunning display of hand made goodies, biscuits and calissons in this shop.
On the trail of another entrance to the Cathedrale St-Sauveur
(seeing as the front door wasn't open)
Wreath growing around memorial plaque

Wild looking Door knocker. The doors on many of the buildings are massive with very large knockers on them.
