Daniela
Frigo was very funny digging himself a little bunker to snuggle down in.
This morning Daniela and Frigo met us at our hotel and followed us to Bandol where we stopped for a few hours to go to the beach. It was very hot and I was freaking out about the kids getting sunburnt. We had our hats and swim shirts but it was 37°C. Scorching!
Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach here so we had to keep a hold of Frigo when Daniela went for a swim. Andrew had done very well keeping him under control but right when we were leaving Frigo took off and was running all over the place and he went barrelling over these two old ducks' towels who then proceeded to tell us off for having a dog there. Anyway they were right so we couldn’t argue but he had been so good the rest of the time.
Bandol is gorgeous – another rich people’s playground with expensive real estate and beautiful boats in the harbour.
We said goodbye to Daniela around 4 o’clock because we had a 70 km drive to Le Lavandou which doesn't sound like far but the coastal roads are very busy at this time and it takes ages.
At Le Lavandou we were booked in at a one star hotel which really lived up to its one star. The girl there was really nice and because they had some vacancies she offered us 2 rooms for the price of one so we could spread ourselves out abit.
