Leaving Nice 6 June 2009

Packing up and leaving Nice was painful. The luggage situation is dire. We make such a mess in the hotel room and have to repack everything every time we move. Honestly, I feel like throwing the whole lot in the bin. We took awhile finding the Toutes Directions. We were driving up a hill and kept climbing higher and higher and soon realised we were heading in the opposite direction to what we wanted. The traffic was horrible and I couldn’t wait to get out of there. It took about 3 1/2 hours to drive from Nice to Savona with a stop for lunch at one of those expensive roadside cafés.
