Excess Luggage

Today I collected a couple of boxes from Auchan supermarche and packed up a heap of winter clothes and kids toys and books which we won't be needing for the rest of the trip. I checked out the La Poste site for the costs of sending parcels from France back to Australia and found it was cheaper to send stuff by post than pay the excess luggage charges on our airline. Some airlines provide an excess luggage service where you can pay a reduced amount ahead of time if you know you will need it but Singapore Airlines doesn't have that service.

150 euros sounds ok if you don't convert it to Aussie $$$. Actually our AU$ is up to 55 cents today. Good to know it's going up just as we're about due to go home.
