Selling the Books

Today we went for a drive to Aix for something to do to get out of Cavaillon. We took the peage road and when we exited to Aix we somehow managed to bypass the town and ended up somewhere south east nowhere near Aix. We're getting so cocky knowing our way around now we didn't even bother to take a map with us and it took about half an hour before we found our way back to Aix.

We wanted to find this english bookshop to see if we could offload a heap of novels which we've collected. Books are so bulky and heavy to cart around and we need to downsize or it's going to be hell trying to carry everything around everywhere.

We found the bookshop but they said they weren't buying second hand books at the moment and also they don't actually buy them anyway, they give you a credit note for you to buy other books which doesn't help us.

In the upstairs section of the shop they have stacks of english novels for sale pretty cheap. There's also a notice board with lots of notices for people looking for french-english language exchange. There was a couple there practising french while we were there. One was obviously the native french speaker and the other was learning but she sounded so good. She'd obviously been learning for a while. Her french sounded fantastic like real french. I was so envious.

After lunch sitting in a cafe out of the rain, we went to check out the Musee Granet. Admission was gratuit because of the renovation work and most of the rooms were closed so we only saw a very small part of it. Disappointing.
