Carlipa - 6 February 2009
Today is a beautiful day. It was warm enough to have the windows open at the front of the house. Late in the afternoon about 4ish the weather changed quite dramatically and was really cold with an icy wind. It was shivery weather. About 6.30pm it started snowing, softly at first, like little bits of fluff coming down but shortly after it changed into big bits of fluff that looked like torn up bits of white tissues. They were really big fat flakes. It was quite lovely to watch. Of course the kids wanted to run out on the road and play in it. It quickly covered the car, the flakes were so big. A nice memory of Carlipa. We thought the snow was beautiful.
